How to Join the Credit Union
Houston Belt & Terminal Federal Credit Union
Potential members must be employed by Union Pacific Railroad, BNSF, Pileco or be an immediate family member of an existing member.
Step 1. Complete the account card.
- Be sure to complete all sections as they apply to you.
- Be sure to SIGN the card in all areas indicated.
Step 2. Must have a clear copy of:
- Driver's License
- Social Security
- Railroad ID card or other picture ID
Step 3. Send a check or Money order for $30.00 to open your Share Savings account.
The Share Savings account is required to join the credit union. You must maintain a $25.00 minimum balance in your shares at all times. There is a one time membership fee of $5.00.
Step 4. Payroll Deduction & Direct Deposit:
- For a deduction or direct deposit of your payroll checks, complete the payroll deduction authorization form. Please note that it could take up to 4 weeks to set up a new payroll deduction or direct deposit.
